Don’t miss Bermuda’s most famous stretch of sand at Horseshoe Bay Beach. The wide crescent of light-pink sand is not only scenic, but also has everything you need for a great day at the beach – crystal-clear water, lifeguards, easy access by public transportation and rentals of everything from towels and beach loungers to snorkeling gear and boogie boards. You can find Horseshoe Bay at the heart of South Shore Park, where a coastal trail connects it with other picturesque beaches to the east and west.

Golf in Bermuda

With more courses per square mile than anywhere else, Bermuda is a true golfer's paradise. There are eight courses on the island! The elements that make golf in Bermuda challenging also make for stunning views from the course. Take the 16th hole at Port Royal Golf Course, which features spectacular coastal cliffs beyond the rolling green. Opt for a shorter but equally challenging round at Ocean View Golf Course and your reward will be stunning views of the West End. For breathtaking vistas of Hamilton Harbour and beyond, take a shot at the beautiful greens located at Newstead Belmont Hills.

Golf Digest has honored Turtle Hill Golf Club as one of the "Best Places to Play Golf,” Travel + Leisure recognized Tucker’s Point Golf Club as the “Best Golf Resort” and Mid Ocean Club is routinely ranked among the best in the world.

Climb the 185-step spiral staircase of Gibbs’ Hill Lighthouse to enjoy one of the best views on the island. The 117-foot lighthouse was built in 1846 of cast iron – the oldest of its kind in the world, and one of only two cast-iron lighthouses still in existence. It overlooks the South Shore and Little Sound, offering views of both the City of Hamilton and the Royal Naval Dockyard. At the bottom, you can get lunch in The Dining Room, which serves pizzas, sandwiches, pastas and fresh seafood.

For hundreds of years, Bermuda’s West End has been the marine hub of the Island. Home to the historic Royal Naval Dockyard, it’s now a busy cruise ship port and a hub for sightseeing, shopping, dining, and entertainment. With its rich maritime history, it’s no surprise that the West End is best explored by land and sea. Stroll through the Dockyard, take a dip at Snorkel Park Beach, and venture to Somerset Village, one of Bermuda’s prettiest places. Slow down and soak up centuries of history blended with fresh discoveries, like colorful craft shops and markets.

St. George's & The East End

Take a short trip over to St. George's and walk through the quaint streets in this well-preserved historic town, explore the nearby fortress, and discover many unique natural attractions, like the limestone formations of Tobacco Bay Beach, Tom Moore’s Jungle and the Crystal Caves of Bermuda. At Cooper’s Island Nature Reserve and Ferry Reach National Park you can spot native plants and exotic birdlife, including several rare species.
